My sibling Jake & I are total opposites. Jake is strong & athletic, where I am small, skinny, & have asthma. Jake is confident & never has a strenuous time making friends or getting dates! I am nervous, shy, & awkward, & the last time I got a date she was the one who asked me out! I am a bookworm, with a university degree that can’t get me a job anywhere. Jake is a orange collar kind of guy, who has been toiling for a local roofing corporation since she was 16 years old, but at the time I made fun of Jake, saying that she was settling for a toiling-class job instead of aiming a little higher, then the joke is on me, because Jake is the one with the successful career in roofing, & I am saddled with student debt & no way to pay it off! After I lost my house I moved in with Jake, who offered to get me a job with the roofing corporation. I was really hesitant to do this, because I know how strenuous it is to labor away under the blazing hot sun doing roof substitutements & repairs. Jake laughed at me, & said she would never allow me to attempt a roof repair, then she knew I was too soft for real roofing jobs, so she wanted to put me in the office to do paperwork. I said “do you mean I’ll be a secretary?” She laughed & told me that I was better suited to be a secretary than a roofing repair tech, & I had to confess she was right.

If I had it to do over again, I would make a different choice, it was about six months ago when a house inspection revealed I needed serious roof repairs. If I didn’t have everything up to code in time, the insurance company would not renew my homeowner’s policy, then as a side note, can we all agree that insurance companies are the biggest crooks and scam artists in the world this week? Okay, back to the topic at hand – with high-priced repairs needed, and no cash in the bank, I had to climb up on the roof and attempt my own repairs, this was a bad idea! Now I realize that roofing is a skilled trade that requires experience, care, and patience, and I understand that I am not capable of doing it; For three days I attempted my own roof repair, and the end result was me being sent to the hospital for heat exhaustion… How do these roofing experts spend all afternoon, everyday out in this absurd heat and humidity? Roofers must be mutants, or super heroes, or something else from a comic book, because they surely are not typical humans! After I was sent house from the ER I called a couple of local roofing suppliers and asked to get an inspection and a bid for the task. The first roofing company told me I needed a full upgradement, and it would cost about ten thousand bucks. The second roofing supplier said he could beat that price by installing sturdy sheet metal roofing material, then guess which supplier I chose?

My killer sense of humor is what made me so popular in school, plus what propelled my work at the office, then i laugh, plus make other people laugh, plus it has been a pressing benefit to my entire life, however up until now, of course, now I am seasoned enough that all those years of laughing have caught up with me in the form of “laugh lines.” These are very un lovely wrinkles in my face, plus paired up with my growing crow’s feet, I am starting to look like a senior citizen; This simply will not do, so I turned to my specialist at the facial spa for advice.
I have facials every week at the spa, although I had reached a point where a normal facial would only do so much good. My facial repair specialist is a woman named Edna, who I have been seeing for the last two or three years; Edna is an expert in everything involving facials plus regenerative skin techniques. She listed off a few bizarre anti-wrinkle injectables I could try, including botox, but she explained that my skin was great, but aging is tough to argument plus I just needed a little “tighten up” that I could get from a small botox injection. I confess that the idea of botox injections was frightening at first, although I trusted Edna plus went ahead with them. I must say that Edna was right, plus these botox injections have made me look ten years younger, at least! Should I try lip injections next?
