It had been a tiring morning, & I was looking forward to having a relaxing evening at home… As I enjoyed my dinner, I had a humming sound that turned into hissing.
It scared me so much that I thought that there was something in my home.
I went to the attic from where the sound originated & established it was the electric Heating & Air Conditioning. Turning it off & on from the wireless temperature control would work, but it was not even showing the readings. I took care of the energy-saving tips the Heating & Air Conditioning company had shared with me, & so far, I had followed all the suggestions. I hoped the boiler was not going to malfunction tonight. I contacted the heating company aggravated that the sound from the heat pump replacement was messing up my evening. It kept getting louder, & it was irritating me. The Heating & Air Conditioning serviceman who answered the PC was entirely polite & patient with me, but he listened to my complaints & asked follow-up questions, including whether I had recently changed the HEPA filter. He explained that the sound could be the air trying to escape from the obstructed filters, causing a strain on the heating equipment’s function. He promised to send over a heating specialist who would change the filters & run furnace maintenance on the electric furnace the following morning. He also asked if I had a space furnace that I could use for the night if the noise from the electric heat pump was too much, however by the time I got off the call with the Heating & Air Conditioning specialist, I had calmed down, & it’s funny how my ears had gotten used to the sound. It was a relaxing thing that I did not need to beginning looking at the Heating & Air Conditioning products for sale.
