I gave him the evidence and told him it was up to him to refute the evidence.

When I found out a neighbor gave his six-year-old son a BB gun for his birthday, I went ballistic. Who in their right mind would give a six-year-old boy something that could be potentially dangerous? Although the kid didn’t hurt himself, he shot holes in my brand new siding. I took pictures of the siding and showed it to the boy’s father. He insisted his son couldn’t do such a thing. I showed him a picture of the kid pointing the BB gun at our house and our dog. He told me he would pay for the damage if I could prove his son did it, but he didn’t think the pictures were proof. I called the police, and they came out to investigate. They found BBs inside some holes, where they got stuck in the insulation. There were BBs on the ground, and the vet dug a few out of our dog and the cat. I took a handful of BBs, the police report, the vet bill, and the estimate to have the siding repaired, over to the neighbor’s house. I gave him the evidence and told him it was up to him to refute the evidence. He didn’t know how I could prove the BBs came from his son’s gun until the kid came flying out of his bedroom. He took one look at the dog and me, and ran back into his room. I thought that was enough proof to have him pay for the repair to the siding and to pay my vet bill. If he didn’t think it was enough, I would take him to small claims court.

Contracting

My son doesn’t think he should be held responsible when he ‘accidentally’ does damage to the house. He thinks that since he lives with us, we should pay for everything. Last year, my husband and I were at the shore on the 4th of July. My son, being twenty-five, should have been capable of staying home alone. He wasn’t a teenager, and we thought he could be an adult. We were wrong. He invited a bunch of people to our house, and they were setting off fireworks. No one was watching where they were landing after going off in the air, but we knew where they landed. Our neighbor and best friends called to tell us the fire company was at our house. The fireworks landed on the roof of the house and set the shingles on fire. Luckily, they had all our information and called us right away. I called our son and told him to call the insurance company, but he waited until we got home. I had to have a new roof on the house, and he was lucky the fire company was only two blocks away, or the house would have burned down. I told our son he was going to pay for the new roof. He insisted the insurance company would pay for the roof, but I shook my head. The insurance company was going to sue him for the damage if it was up to me. He should have been more careful. Since the police already knew what happened, they wrote our son up for the damage and shooting off fireworks within the town’s limits, which was a definite no-no. He couldn’t believe we were going to make him reimburse the insurance company for the new roof.

I recently moved back to my home state.

I moved to the South to go to college for 4 years, but I ended up staying another 4 years after that because of the job I found. But once I got remote work and wasn’t tied down to that area, it seemed nicer to me thinking about moving back home. I had that experience living out of my home state away from my family, and I was ready to go back and see them all. On top of that, the rent is a lot more affordable near my parents’ hometown. I really hated paying high rent rates in the city I was living in during college. It was hard to afford living in an apartment when rent prices were higher than many other places in the country. So that made it a lot easier to move back home. Unfortunately the weather is sort of extreme in the winter season in this part of the country. I have a decent furnace in my home, but that’s not good enough if the power goes out. A lot of us use wood stoves and fireplaces to burn wood and the time of a power outage. A random blizzard can throw your power out in the middle of the night while you’re sleeping. Then you’d wake up shivering, or never wake up at all. Some people die of hyperthermia in their sleep because they don’t have adequate heat when they need it the most. You don’t necessarily need two heating systems if you live up north, but it’s certainly smart.

My sister’s been visiting me a lot more now that she moved back to our home state.

• She lives about an hour away, but she drives into my city to make frequent stops at the large shopping mall here.

There are special stores in that mall that she can’t find anywhere else on this side of the state. It also gives her an excuse to stop by my house and say hi to myself and my wife. Sometimes my sister even brings freshly cooked food with her. Lately my sister’s been frustrated because of the men in her life. She has been through several different failed relationships over the past 5 years. I always tell her that she should go down to the convention center one of these nights when they’re having a concert outside. It’s actually usually a great place to mingle with people our age who are single. I’d rather my sister go there than stay at my house during an HVAC service visit and hit on the HVAC technician. I’m not even sure if I’m going to be able to keep my contract with this heating and cooling company because the HVAC technician looked clearly uncomfortable by my sister’s advances. I tried to tell her to stop several times, but she wouldn’t listen to me. I’m just mortified at the thought of that forage back technician going back to his job and telling his boss at the heating and cooling company that a client’s family member was making romantic advances on him. I’m sure the HVAC technician just wanted to do this job and get the air conditioning service complete in as little time as possible.

Today is an exciting day for me because I’m getting a brand new window air conditioning system.

I’ve talked about my friends about this and I just can’t understand why I’m excited, as far as their concerned it’s just a window air conditioning system.

After all, what’s so excited about a window AC system. Well I’m here to tell you, I’ve been wanting to window air conditioning system for a while and while I know that’s it is going to be plenty of people that think I’m weird for it, I prefer to use a window air conditioning over a central AC unit. The reason I prefer to use my window air conditioning system over my central AC system inside I just find my window air conditioning system so far to use. I mean all I have to do is put it in the window and turn it on. My central air conditioning system always costs me a lot of money every time I run it and I don’t need to have my entire house cool all at once if I’m only in one room. So it is for this reason I prefer to use the window air conditioning system and so if my central AC system, and I find that the more I use my window AC system the last I use my central air conditioning system. Not everybody understands it but that’s okay, I have found a system that works for me and I’m going to stick with it. I already have one window air conditioner but I’m going to be buying another one as well and I am more than ready to get it.

I cannot believe how fast time has gone by.

It’s like I blinked and then all the sudden it was time for my heating and air conditioning appointment.

I remember when I scheduled that a month ago, now a month ago seems like forever ago. Anyways, the works I’m having done on my heating and a system isn’t anything special. It’s just some regular heating and air conditioning tune-ups. I have this done about every 6 months to my heating and cooling system because I do believe that having tune-ups to your heating and AC system is normally important but will keep your HVAC system in much better shape. I’ve had heating and air conditioning technicians tell me that you were heating and AC system will last much longer if it’s properly maintained and taken care of. It’s going to try to do my best to take good care of my heating and AC system by having the heating and cooling professionals come out here every 6 months to take a look at it, make sure they’re still performing as it should and do any necessary work on it. Another reason why I do this is because about 5 years ago I replaced my entire heating and AC system with the one I have now. The HVAC system that I have now is quite expensive and so if I wanted to spend that much money on a heating and AC system, you better bet that I’m going to have my tune ups and maintenance style on it to make sure that it stays in excellent working condition. I don’t want all that money to be for nothing.
