Things are sure odd when you become a homeowner. There were so several things that I was looking forward to when it came to owning a home. First, it was just so nice to be paying a mortgage plus not just paying rent. I had to rent for more than a decade after university plus it just killed me to write that check each month knowing that I wasn’t building equity. And then there’s the heating plus cooling.
