I almost chickened out, but I was determined to learn
When I bought the ductless electric heat pump to help with indoor comfort in my house, I followed online input about the heat pump installation and decided to buy the HVAC products for sale based on that. Some people handled heater maintenance themselves without involving the a/c professional. I loved the idea that it would save me air conditioner service fees and also save me from high energy bills, especially since we were installing a wireless thermostat to the quality heating equipment. The HEPA filter and the energy-saving tips would crown it all. I realized that I was not good at following the instructions on performing the tune-up myself and would need practical help from the heating technician. I was lucky that when I requested an HVAC serviceman from the local indoor comfort business to help me learn the basics, their schedule was relatively quiet, so they squeezed me in for two hours. My sister thought it was wasteful, but I had considered the long-term cost savings when it came to costly boiler repairs. The HVAC specialist showed me how to remove the filters and replace them. I almost chickened out, but I was determined to learn. I had to schedule dates for when it would be the best time to have the electric HVAC serviced and when I’d have the experts come in for troubleshooting so that I could see all the worrisome signs. I’ve done it for half a year, and my sister is now jealous that she can’t do the same with her electric heating system, and I have to remind her we can’t have it all. My air conditioning bills are lower, and I can save a little more.
