Installing a ductless heat pump in a beauty shop

My client recently set up a beauty shop in a commercial building without any HVAC installation. They had tried to use room units because the building did not let them install ducts to support a more efficient HVAC unit, but that option was inadequate, and they needed better help with indoor comfort. I have worked with multiple small business owners who’d found themselves in the same situation but didn’t know the type of quality HVAC that would sort their problem. While doing my business installations consultations, I learned from an HVAC professional at the local business that a ductless heat pump was an excellent option for commercial properties that did not have ducts for central HVAC. There are many HVAC brands to pick from, but I always left that to the client’s discretion once I took them to the HVAC business to listen in on what the HVAC provider was recommending. Once they picked the brand, all we did was get an HVAC repairman to do the installation. Involving heating experts made the process easier because the client would easily decide. The beauty shop client is the most informed client I have ever had because they knew that a heat pump would help them but needed expert guidance. They also wanted a thermostat installed to help regulate the temperatures when they were at the store and closed. As for air filters, they decided to go with the disposable option because the location of the business is a bit too dusty. As with the other retail business clients, the beauty shop owner is happy with the installation and that HVAC maintenance will not be too tasking or expensive for them.
