The bathroom in my house started showing signs of mold from high humidity, and no matter how much I cleaned it up, the pores seemed to be spreading because I would clean mold, and two days later, I’d be dealing with the same issue.
The smart HVAC unit and the whole home air purification system do not cover the bathroom, so the air quality has always been compromised.
My sister warned me that the amount of scrubbing I was doing to get rid of the mold would affect my respiratory system if I kept doing it without air purification help. Lucky for me, the HVAC professional was coming to handle the HVAC equipment servicing, where they would handle duct cleaning and changing the air filter. We figured out that installing an air purification system in the bathroom would improve indoor air quality in the bathroom area and help us contain the mold. I asked the home service HVAC technician for a recommendation on what to do, and their feedback was that I needed to have the bathroom checked for leakage and assessed for the type of mold and extent of it that the damage had extended. I took the advice and got the bathroom cleaned, and the cabinet changed, which was a good idea because all the mold was hiding under the cabinet where I couldn’t see it. Other than the fresh paint and the cleaning, we also added an air purifier to increase the efficiency of the heating and cooling unit. To handle the humidity, the expert recommended a dehumidifier for it. My bathroom has been perfect since then, and the smart HVAC remains in its efficient condition.
