Feet need a space heater
I either need some thick wool socks on my feet or soak them in some hot water, as they are still cold from the swim I did earlier this morning.
My hands are also numb and I may just put some hot water in the hot water bottle I have and heat them up that way. I don’t like it when my fingers are cold because I can’t really feel the keys when I am typing and make a lot of mistakes. I’ll go get that hot water bottle now and fill it up with hot water from the heating device we have in the kitchen. It can heat the water up to boiling in about two minutes and then I will have nice warm hands once again. I may also turn on the radiant heated floors for a while to heat up my feet and then I can shut off the heater as soon as they are warm. I will keep the wool socks on all day though so my feet stay warm, and as far as my hands go, well I just need to keep the flat warm and they will be fine. I don’t want to run my heating system though because it isn’t that cold outside, it is more just my hands and feet that are feeling cold from that cold swim I took earlier in the day. The sea is heating up and it won’t be long till my cold sea dips are a thing of the past, till it starts cooling down again in the winter.
A/C system repair is around the corner
Tomorrow we are going to get together to play some music after a three week break.
Our plan is to play a lot this summer and get into more clubs and bars so that we can make more money and escape the heat of the streets.
We will practice on this pier by the sea, which is also very close to a beach bar that gets packed, so we may get some good tips from the people at the bar if they like our music. I take the money we make from playing and buy more sound equipment. A nice mini split a/c unit would be good too if we can make some money this summer, as my old system is kind of dying and I need something to cool me down in the office while I do my work. I think this summer is going to be really busy and if we play four nights a week like we are planning to do we could make a good chunk of money each. I think the cooling system that I want to buy costs about $500, so if we stick to our playing schedule I should be able to buy it from the local business in a month or two. I think we can make $200 each per week if we play four nights a week, which is pretty easy to do because we have so much fun playing. The local contractor in town is going to have us perform at his climate controlled club as soon as they get the place finished.
A certified cooling specialist who is single father and out of a job

Fred was on his last dime and had no way of making a living since he found himself alone with a six-month-old girl he could not take to work or go out to look for a job with. The local service provider had laid him off, and he had been applying for jobs in different HVAC businesses. As he put on the last diaper on her, he knew he had hit rock bottom. At this point, Fred had fixed the device and managed to cool the house a few degrees, but Fred knew it was just a temporary fix; he needed a new climate control system if he was going to achieve actual cooling. He strapped the baby on his torso and headed out. Fred knocked on doors to see if he could get quality AC service jobs. When he could not find any in his neighborhood, he took his chance and headed to a ritzy neighborhood where his friend worked as a security guard. The first two doorbells Fred rang didn’t amount to anything. When he rang the third, a man probably in his seventies answered. He gave him a long look and then ushered him in. Fred introduced himself as a cooling specialist who was looking for work. He said he was about to call the cooling corporation to help him decide which HVAC installation would help with indoor comfort. Fref told him about the latest cooling technology in the industry. The senior man could see that he talked like a passionate and seasoned cooling technician. They eventually settled on an electric heat pump, and he gave him the installation job. That began things looking up for him and his baby girl. The homeowner then sent him to another house where they required his services as an HVAC contractor.
A strange dream that was triggered by my faulty electric heat pump
Two nights ago, I had a frightening and funny experience with my cooling equipment. I live alone in a two-story house. I found an already well-functioning climate control system when I moved in last year. Before moving in, however, I had the local service provider conduct quality AC service. The cooling technician gave the electric heat pump a clean bill of health even though the installation had occurred seven years ago. Two nights ago, I had just gotten to bed and gradually fell asleep after a hectic day. I had a dream that I was being chased by someone that was making a loud hissing noise. When I woke up sweating, I realized the noise did not stop because it came from my HVAC installation. I woke up and found a puddle of water near one of the vents. Since I had no idea what was wrong with the cooling device, I switched it off and noted on my to-do list to call the cooling corporation the next day. I would schedule air conditioning repair and hope the cooling specialist would make it to my home the same day. When I returned to bed, I chuckled at the dream and was fascinated by the body’s ability to alert you even in a deep sleep. The HVAC contractor could do the repairs the same day and even installed an indoor air cleaning system to help with indoor comfort and maintain the air quality, provided I changed the air filters frequently. The prompt and efficient service from the HVAC business was refreshing, as I did not have to worry about having weird dreams because of the malfunctioning unit. It also helped that I learned more about cooling technology.
